Here I gather my thoughts about the NHL, my favorite team in the game of hockey - the Dallas Stars and sports in general (in no particular order).

They always say: NHL is a business. I love the sport: the thrill of watching a close hockey game with fast skating, hard hitting and at the same time playing with a small vulcanized rubber is priceless.

However, I’ve always been more interested in the “game within the game” - tracking GM moves, fitting under the cap limit, projecting future contracts and so on.

Therefore, I will try to bring you my perspective on some key strategic business decisions, approaches to building a great franchise, cap management in the NHL and ideally much more.
